Una situación donde los segundos cuentan y los protocolos quedan obsoletos se vivió entre las 11 y las 12 horas de este miércoles, en Concordia.
Un llamado de emergencia fue recepcionado por las autoridades del aeródromo de esa ciudad entrerriana. El piloto de un avión sanitario pedía de urgencia una medicación en especial, dado que trasladaba a una nena de 11 años, que debía ser operada en Buenos Aires.
La doctora María de los Ángeles Petit, asesora institucional del municipio, contó en declaraciones radiales que “desde el área, trabajamos en coordinación con el aeropuerto porque se viene gestionando su proyecto de ampliación”.
Fue así que, minutos después de las 11 horas de este miércoles, “el administrador del Aeropuerto, Gabriel Di Lauro, llega a la oficina y nos cuenta de esta emergencia, con un problema gravísimo, donde el pedido de aterrizaje era para un período de 15 minutos”.
No sólo había que habilitar el arribo de la aeronave sino también “conseguir la medicación, por lo que pensamos en la gente del hospital Masvernat”. A través de “Leticia Ponzinibio, la esposa del intendente y el director del nosocomio, el doctor Ragone”, se pudo aceitar todo y “la verdad que fue una aventura, en el que el propio Di Lauro se tuvo que ir al hospital para acercar la medicación”, contó Petit.
Según Diario Río Uruguay, la niña de 11 años era trasladada desde el hospital Juan Pablo II, de Corrientes, hacia el hospital Gutiérrez, de Buenos Aires.
En el medio del viaje, la menor presentó hemorragias que pusieron en riesgo su vida. Allí, unos 20 minutos antes de llegar a Concordia se despertó – a pesar de haber sido sedada ? y eso hizo que entrara en pánico, queriéndose arrancar la asistencia respiratoria que se le había dado en la aeronave.
En concreto, desde el Masvernat se pudieron brindar cinco ampollas de Lorazepam, que fueron distribuidas entre el trayecto Concordia – San Fernando (Buenos Aires).
La niña, a los 3 años ya había sido intervenida quirúrgicamente en el hospital Gutiérrez, por un tumor en la zona hepática y es considerada una paciente de alto riesgo. Hace algunas semanas había presentado un desmejoramiento de su cuadro, por un sangrado recurrente en el esófago.
Por esto, la urgencia de la intervención y la necesidad de no desviarse del trayecto establecido para su nueva operación. Afortunadamente, llegó a destino y se encontraba lista para entrar a quirófano.
